UTAR is committed to implementing energy management practices to improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, and support sustainable development across all campuses.

The university will:

The university will:

Compliance and Governance
UTAR will ensure compliance with:
- Laws and standards: Relevant Malaysian laws including the Electricity Supply Act 1990, Renewable Energy Act 2011, Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act (EECA), and MS 1525 for non-residential buildings.
